Revolution Club standing with freedom fighter Noche Diaz. Minutes later, getting the news that all the criminal charges against him were dropped. Huge victory for the revolution and the people!!! April 25th, Student Day of Action in NYC! Stop Patriarchy went to college campuses and high schools all over the city and got a great response and huge support from students. People spoke out about the attacks on abortion rights and were excited to show their support by wearing stickers and posing for pictures with our loud ABORTION ON DEMAND signs!
About 40 supporters came out for the trial of Noche Diaz today in Manhattan, rallied beforehand, and celebrated victory after, with ALL criminal charges being dropped. Huge thank you to all those who signed the petition. We ended up presenting the D.A. with almost 2000 signatures collected in about 2 weeks. We need to gain even more support for this courageous freedom fighter and encourage more people to be like him and stand up against police brutality and stop and frisk!

Statement from the Stop Mass Incarceration Network:
HANDS OFF NOCHE DIAZ!
DROP ALL THE CHARGES AGAINST HIM!
Noche Diaz is a young revolutionary and a member of the People’s Neighborhood Patrol of Harlem. He courageously works to safeguard constitutionally guaranteed rights of citizens in neighborhoods where these rights are often abused. Today he faces charges in Manhattan and the Bronx for witnessing police brutalizing citizens. Noche refused to leave these community members to face this brutality alone. For that he faces charges that could send him to prison for several years in his Manhattan trial. Noche is a freedom fighter who has put himself on the line to defend basic human rights in many poorer communities of color throughout New York City. He now needs our help. Please stand up for him, for our communities and yourself; Join us in saying: Stop the legal persecution of Noche and drop all the charges against him.
Criminalization of Anti-Pornography Position at “Social Justice” Conference!
Stop Patriarchy! went to the 27th annual conference at Hampshire College, hosted by CLPP (Civil Liberties and Public Policy): “From Abortion Rights to Social Justice: Building the Movement for Reproductive Freedom” and on the second day, we were escorted out by police.
How did this happen??
Hands Off Noche Diaz! Drop All The Charges! Stand With This Freedom Fighter!
Noche Diaz is facing 4+ years in prison for standing up to what the police do to the youth every day. He is well known to the people and the powers-that-be, for being a member of the People’s Neighborhood Patrols, which call out, witness, and stand up to the abuses of the police against the people.
We are NOT a Pro-life or in other words, Pro-Female Enslavement Generation!!!!
After this week of action in D.C. with Stop Patriarchy for the 40th Anniversary of Roe vs Wade, I must proclaim that this generation of young people is NOT ‘pro-life’ or in other words, pro-female enslavement. Being out every day of the week, engaging with people from all kinds of backgrounds and perspectives, proved that even for those who were not initially for this right to be available to all women, most were won over after sharp struggle. This was true because when we broke the whole thing down in simple, real terms, whether you are FOR forced motherhood, or for the ability for a woman to choose when and whether she will have a child, the answer seemed almost instinctive. For those who could not get beyond the idea that abortion is murder and a woman should be ready to bear the consequences for being ‘irresponsible’ or what have you, were met with the fact that 1/3 women will get an abortion on her lifetime. Not all these women are the same. They are not all facing the same kinds of situations in their lives. They are not all young. They are women who you know. They are women who often carry shame and/or guilt with them for the rest of their lives, but not because abortion is something to feel ashamed or guilty about. It is because there are so many lies throughout society on what an abortion actually is and how it should affect women, many of which are put out there by the Christian fascists and so called ‘pro-life’ movement. The truth is abortion is NOT murder and fetuses are NOT babies! Abortion is NOT tragic! It is liberating! It allows a woman to make her own choice on whether or not she is ready for a child! Giving birth to a child puts a woman’s life in more danger than getting an abortion! We need to be real about all this, the women of this country, and all over the world, who do not have access to abortion providers, are enslaved to their government and the MEN who run them, who could never fathom what it is even like to bear a child.
